Up to £26,260 per annum (starting salary)

12 Month Fixed Term Contract
39 hours per week

Our client is currently recruiting for a skilled IT Officer to join their IT Service Desk team. 

On a day to day basis you will provide 1st/2nd line IT support to the Group’s users; resolving IT issues on a range of software applications, Windows laptops/PCs, iPads, and Android phones/tablets. You will undertake administration of user accounts within Active Directory and work with the team on wider projects.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within an internal IT department or IT services organisation - demonstrating hands-on experience of configuring, troubleshooting and supporting application software and computer equipment.

You will need experience of using help desk call tracking systems; taking ownership of support requests; ensuring all support calls are recorded and kept updated on the system; meeting compliance with internal SLA’s.

It is essential that you are a problem solver that can ‘think outside of the box’ when required in order to resolve issues. You will be able to handle a busy workload yet ensure customer service is always the key focus.
