Formed in 1993, our client is a leading provider of training and employability solutions. They are a Prime Contractor for the flagship ESF Workless Families programme for the DWP, and are also the Prime Contractor for two Youth Contracts for the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
They are looking to appoint a dynamic individual as a Recuitment Officer where you will be responsible for recruiting NEET Young People aged 16-24 for their Traineeships and Study Programme. This is a permanent, full time role based at their Brighton Centre.
Within the role you will develop and maintain positive relationships with the full range of referral partners, whilst also engaging and motivating young people. Actively promoting and recruiting for the Study Programme and Traineeships, you will identify and develop relationships with appropriate and relevant referral agencies, including JCPs, Local Authority departments, local schools and colleges.
Organising and supporting Information Sessions for potential candidates, you will provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to reflect Centre Recruitment performance whilst also maintaining and updating records of outreach activity and information session attendance.
We are looking for someone who is target driven and able to perform against weekly and monthly targets. With strong IT skills and an excellent communicator, you will be able to engage and develop professional relationships with young people who have potentially challenging barriers and are from diverse backgrounds.
With experience of working with young people and ideally with relevant industry experience (that may include Sales), you will have strong organisational and administrative skills, and will hold a Level 2 qualification (GCSE or equivalent) in English and Maths.
