Job Title: Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Location: Cheadle

Salary: £17,000 - £18,000 p/a

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday, 0900-1730

The Company:

The Company is an established software company that specialises in developing and providing software to the care industry. They are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic receptionist/admin assistant to join a rapidly progressing company in an exciting field.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Converse with customers as the first point of contact for the growing list of 400+ customers
  • Log calls onto the internal CRM system
  • Liaise with the sales and training team to organise and confirm appointments and to arrange their accommodation
  • Perform basic administration duties of sending out invoices, payment reminders and completing any necessary paperwork
  • Process expenses and petty cash
  • Organise exhibitions and customer workshops

The Ideal Candidate will need to:

  • Have a professional and friendly manner
  • Be confident and have an articulate phone manner
  • Be extremely organised and be able to prioritise a changing workload
  • Be self-assured, outgoing and be able to deal with all levels of clientele
  • Have strong administration skills
  • Be confident in using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Have a team player mentality


  • 22 days holiday per annum (increasing by 2 days after 2, 5 and 10 years)
