Production / Machine Operative (Night Shift)
Working on behalf of our manufacturing client based in Sutton we are seeking a Production / Machine Operative on a temporary to permanent basis. Offering full training and the opportunity to gain further experience by shadowing the Lead Operator you will be trained to set, load and operate various production machinery whole working to the high standards required.
Start: ASAP
Location: Sutton, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Sunday - Wednesday 10pm - 6am, Thursday 10pm - 5am
Hourly Rate: GBP9.84 per hour + holiday pay
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Duties will include:
* Carrying out regular maintenance and cleaning checks to keep downtime to a minimum
* Setting of the machine to suit the production needs
* Loading and operating the machinery within the health and safety guidelines
* Working to high production standards and reducing waste costs where possible
* Working from production drawings and customer specifications
* Keeping the factory production area clean and tidy whilst working in a safely manner
Key skills and attributes required:
* Previous manufacturing / factory experience would be desirable
* Strong work ethic and desire to progress
* Ability to work quickly and methodically
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential
* Ability to follow instructions both written and verbally
