Technical Production Operator
Salary Negotiable plus benefits and overtime
Our client has new exciting opportunity for a Technical Production Operator to work as part of a dynamic team in a fast paced challenging environment, to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of an extensive extrusion line. This will include production, warehouse and engineering duties.
The Technical Production Operator will have the:
• Ability to understand equipment intricacies to think and plan ahead to prevent breakdown
• Replenishment of raw products and good communication with Stores to ensure no line shortages
• Running of large extrusion lines (start up, shut down and run)
• Daily usage of Fork truck (Training will be given)
• Transfer of Chemicals from Tankers to Silos (Training will be given)
• Carry out any task that is asked if Production is on stop to ensure continued smooth running of Site
• Maintenance and engineering checks and reporting for Equipment wear
• Use of power tools and heavy lifting equipment
• 5S methodology and team building culture to be adhered to and participated in
• Participation of continuous improvement activities ( Kaizens, A3 projects, Lean Manufacturing)
• Assist with Audits and stock counting
• Train others and knowledge share within the teams and departments
