We have a vacancy for a busy and growing insurance office based in Corby!

Insurance Servicing Agent

Purpose

To deliver an excellent customer service experience for the customers and prospective customers.

Key Accountabilities

Product/Service Knowledge

* Be knowledgeable about insurance; understand the key features and benefits.

* Have an awareness of FCA regulations.

* Understand complaints procedure, and the requirements of the FCA.

* Understand the insurance industry as a whole.

Customer Service Delivery

* Make every call professional, building rapport with customers/prospective customers.

* Answer all calls within Company's SLAs.

* Prioritise call backs and take accurate messages.

* Process MTAs and cancellations.

* Identify, deal with, and escalate complaints where necessary (and update complaints database).

* Have proper conversations with breeders; check they have appropriate literature.

* Assist breeder field sales team with making follow-up calls and sending breeder literature.

* Work with the wider team to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

* Assist the admin team as necessary.

Person Profile

* Previous experience of customer service.

* Excellent verbal communications skills, particularly telephone manner.

* Focused on positive outcomes.

* Empathetic, and customer-centric.

* Strong learning orientation.

* Team player.

* Eye for detail.

* Good time management; punctual.

* Discreet, fully appreciative of the need for confidentiality.

Hours 37.5 full time, will be required to work two evenings ( Shift 10.30am - 7pm with an hour unpaid for lunch) and alternate Saturdays ( 10am - 4pm no break). Days/overall hours agreed when discussing the role. Once agreed these hours are set and not varied week to week.

Pay depending on experience, 17.5 - 19k starting salary. Three month probationary period.

Benefits include 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Once probation is passed, eligible for group life assurance and group private medical insurance.
