Salary range for the FRS B/C grade: £24,671 - £35,107

An opportunity has arisen for a number of FRS B/C technician’s posts within the Brigade’s Protective Equipment Group (PEG) based in Croydon. PEG is moving to a new location in 2020 but remaining in the Croydon area.
The successful candidates will be part of a team reporting to the Manager of the Respiratory Equipment Section. The posts deal primarily with the maintenance of the Brigade’s breathing apparatus and associated equipment.
The successful candidates must possess a full clean UK driving licence and will be required to take and pass the Brigade’s driving assessment.
The existing PEG staffing structure is under review and in future may require that you are part of an on-call rota for which additional payments will be made. This may include the requirement for training as Brigade emergency response drivers.
The successful candidates must reside within the GLA area.
