MAINTENANCE MECHANICAL PIPE FITTER & VENTILATION

Full Time - 37.5 hours a week, with additional un-rostered and rostered overtime

Starting Salary £23,113 – £24,507

Scale point 20 - 22 dependent on experience

Start date – subject to recruitment checks

We are looking for a time served fully qualified experienced Maintenance Mechanical Pipe Fitter/Plumber for our School premises.

The ideal candidate will have relevant previous experience and have worked in a similar role and be qualified to City and Guilds 6192-02 as a minimum, and have served a recognised trade apprenticeship in the disciplines required.

Working with external contractors in maintaining all mechanical, ventilation, plumbing and heating equipment and ensuring the safe use of buildings for staff, residents and students. Maintaining all AHUs and cooling plant. Working with a small maintenance team to ensure all buildings and equipment are maintained to comply with current
regulations.

Gas Safe registration would be desirable but not essential as the School can provide training.

This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same.

The maintenance department works as a multi function unit and as such you will be expected to assist other trades as the necessity arises.
