A fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join an exciting and passionate team in an established restaurant and bar operation based in Falmouth.
The position will be helping to support the Head Chef and the team within the kitchen.
You will have a passion for innovative and creative menus and be able to display and carry out exemplary kitchen management skills.
The Sous Chef will take control and manage the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence. Responsible for sourcing, ordering and menu development and assisting with the development and training of the team. Ensuring all dishes are cooked and presented to a high modern standard. Health and hygiene management will also be second to none.
You will have:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high standard brasserie environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Previous experience leading a team and proven leadership and training skills.
A passion for food and an eye to detail.
The ability to work well under pressure.
Must have excellent communication skills.
