You will be joining a thriving construction, property, residential and services group as an experienced Building Surveyor working closely with private and public sector clients.

Surveyor Responsibilities:

* Reporting to and assisting the Regional Team Lead in delivering Building Surveying commissions and projects as necessary, with accountability for quality and effective delivery

* Creating high quality technical solutions through producing building specifications and 2D CAD drawings

* To ensure the successful delivery of your projects, meeting financial, time, quality, and client satisfaction objectives

* Financially monitor your projects, monitor and record changes on the commission, agree fees, changes and final accounts with clients in line with business cycle

* Contribute fully to the wider project team so that service delivery supports business needs

* Provide technical and professional expertise, advice and guidance

* Assist in meeting Business Development objectives

* Assist with bids and proposals as required

* Seek, identify and exploit opportunities for adding value, improving customer service, efficiency and effectiveness

Surveyor Requirements:

* Degree level qualification or equivalent

* Ideally associate member of RICS or equivalent professional body, or considerable amount of relevant work experience

* Proven ability to plan, organise and control projects

* Strong technical and influencing skills

* Strong knowledge of Health and Safety, Quality management and CDM regulations

* Experienced in producing building specifications and 2D CAD drawings

* Commercially aware, with evidence of delivering profitable, cost effective and efficient services that meet client needs while also protecting the needs of your business

* Can demonstrate examples of building relationships with clients

* Resilient and optimistic, meets deadlines

In return the successful surveyor will be offered a competitive salary of GBP30,000- 40,000 dependent on experience, and benefits including 26 days holiday, pension, cycle to work scheme.
