ENGIE are recruiting for a Commercial and Compliance Officer to be based at Kings Yard, Carpenters Road, London E15 2HD. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:

This role offers an opportunity to develop the quantity surveying processes and procedures to a 'best practice' standards, looking to continually review new developments and advise any changes to current practice. ENGIE's Engineering and Construction Department, of which this role forms an essential part of, are responsible for developing innovative projects from the initial concept stage through to the installation and commissioning of plant ready for handover to ENGIE's Operations Team or a third-party client. ENGIE's Projects are diverse and stretch across its UK portfolio of award winning schemes. Reporting to ENGIE's Commercial and Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will work amongst a team of highly skilled Project Engineers/Managers focused on supporting and facilitating the delivery of bespoke energy solutions across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the Commercial and Compliance Manager in the departments' daily activities

*

Demonstrates an understanding of the standard form of contracts

*

Manages the change process in accordance with the contract

*

Management of the Compliance Register for Urban Energy

*

Contributes to the drafting of contract particulars

*

Assists in resolving contractual and commercial problems

*

Ensures compliance in corporate governance

*

Ensures subcontracts process is administered correctly to protect the company

*

Manages the Income Control and Management reporting programme

*

Completes the Monthly Contracts register

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

Essential:

*

Degree qualified

*

Strong organisational skills

*

Knowledge of Standard Form Contracts

*

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel

*

Ability to work proactively with a can-do attitude.

*

Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite, including Office, Word and Excel and Project.

Desirable

*

SharePoint experience

*

Document control experience
