Part Qualified Accountant - About The Role
* Our client is a leading provider of business services including finance, accounting and administrative solutions to a broad ranging client base including the asset management sector, oil and gas, and AIM-listed companies.
* Due to significant and on-going growth in supporting clients wishing to outsourcing their accounts they now require further part qualified Accountants.
* You will work as part of the accounting team and be responsible for a portfolio of clients where you will work under supervison on the completion of monthly client management accounts.
* You will collate the year end process including the drafting of financial statements in UK GAAP and IFRS.
* You will liaise with other departments within the firm, such as payroll, tax, company secretarial, to coordinate the delivery of other services provided by the firm.
* You will responsible for accounting entries, payroll journals & nominal journals, preparation of supplier invoice payment runs; fixed asset register, accruals and prepayment schedules.
The successful Part Qualified Accountant will:
* Be actively studying an accountancy qualification such as ACA/ACCA
* Have gained a minimum of 2 years Practice experience
* With a strong understanding of UK accounting and related areas, ideally gained in a Practice environment
* A great level of technical knowledge and ability to apply it in practical situations
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
* A Proactive approach to your work
