HR Advisor - Contract

HR Advisor role working for a market leading technology business based in Derby. The products this company are developing are cutting edge and transforming the industry in which they operate. Already employing over 200 people the organisation is set to double in size over the coming years. This is a fixed term contract role, the term is 10 months with an immediate start.

Working alongside an HR Manager you will provide comprehensive operational HR support to the business.

This is a fully generalist HR Advisor role. Responsibilities of the role include:

• Delivery of HR support and advice on reward, resourcing and contractual matters

• Support the recruitment and new starter process; collating requirements, initial drafting of profiles/adverts, agreeing recruitment methods, interview support, securing authority to recruit, issuing contracts of employment

• Advise on the implementation of Company policy and negotiated agreements, eg on attendance, discipline, capability, etc. personally handling casework as required

• Provide employee relations support and advice

• Provide ad hoc management information reporting

• Provide well thought through, pragmatic and authoritative advice to managers and employees on HR matters, in accordance with Company policy, best practice and taking account of business risk
