HR Assistant
Location: Grangemouth, FK3 8XX
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Part time, Permanent
Due to continued and consistent expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to work with and learn from our HR Business Partner, supporting and assisting our Scottish businesses.
Applicants must have a responsible and pro-active attitude and be reliable and flexible.
The successful HR Assistant will be able to use their initiative and be capable of working as part of a team, as well as on their own, to deal with a wide range of HR issues.
Responsibilities of the HR Assistant role:
* Management of recruitment process
* Figure analysis, reconciliation and reporting
* Facilitation of induction process of new hires
* Preparation and completion of HR related paperwork including, offers, contracts and benefits administration
* Ensuring HR systems and employee files are accurate and maintained
* Arranging internal / external training
* File documentation and maintenance
* Employee communication co-ordination
* Liaising with managers and employees at all levels, across multiple locations
Skills / Experience required:
* Must have previous experience in an HR support role and possibly have or are working towards CIPD qualification.
* Proven administrative experience within a HR function.
* A good working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Powerpoint is essential.
* Demonstrable track record of working with discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate with tact and diplomacy.
* Must have the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity.
* Must be organised, numerate and accurate.
Education / Qualifications required:
* Achieved or working towards business related qualification.
* Preferably CIPD qualified.
