MEA Logistics Executive

OVERVIEW

Xerox, the leading document solutions and services provider, is looking for a Logistics Executive, being an integral part of the OTC (Order to Collection) team supporting the Xerox MEA Business division.

MEA is part of the UMEI Operations and operates in Africa the Middle East and Eastern Europe. It operates using a two-tier distribution network, which consists of approx. 80 partner accounts.

Revenue for 2018 was $197m.

The OTC department is situated in Uxbridge.

The position reports to the OTC Manager.

JOB PURPOSE

The timely and efficient fulfilment of the MEA region order book, in order to maximise recognisable revenue.

Effective and timely communication to our MEA partners and MEA senior management the status of orders.

Where delays in shipment are highlighted work with Partners, Supply Chain and MEA colleagues for workable solutions.

Reports to the OTC Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with Partners, ISC and MEA HQ staff

  • Provide weekly reports to Partners on the status of their orders. Where delays are known or anticipated work with Partners, Supply Chain and MEA HQ staff to minimise the impact on both the Partner and MEA.
  • Provide daily reports to the MEA Team on anticipated gross shipments for the reporting period, ensuring the bases for any assumptions are substantiated.
  • Weekly/Monthly reports to General Managers
  • Understanding forecasting large revenue figures
  • Work with OTC manager to understand the impact of the INCO terms used on shipments in the reporting period on the recognisable revenue.
  • Work with the Commercial Manager to ensure timely and accurate submission of the supply/demand outlooks to ISC.
  • Relationship building with Export Team based in Holland. Supply team based in UK
  • Where product is constrained, engage with Partners, MEA HQ staff and Supply Chain, to ensure optimum benefit in allocation.
  • Flexible with travel, as Travel to Venray is required.
