Apprentice – Level 3 Nursery Assistant
Location: Exeter College Day Nursery
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £13,077 per annum, plus excellent benefits
Contract Type: Fixed Term for duration of apprenticeship

Exeter College Day Nursery is situated in the city centre in a modern purpose-built nursery. Our 40-place nursery has three base playrooms, all of which lead into a large garden to the rear of the building. We are close to all main transport links into the city.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Apprentice Nursery Assistant to join our nursery team. You must have a keen interest in childcare, and previous experience of caring for children under five is desirable. You must have a sense of fun, be adaptable, enjoy helping children learn through their play experiences and be able to work as part of a team.

Whilst you are employed by us you will be trained in all aspects of childcare, child development and children’s learning, both through taught days in college and practical experience in the nursery. We have an experienced team of 15 early years practitioners who will help and guide you through your training.

The College offers great opportunities for professional development and further training. The college also offers a generous holiday allowance of 28 days per year, plus bank holidays and an additional two weeks off at Christmas.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Thursday 13th June 2019 at midnight.
