Field Sales Executives - South East
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to kick-start or develop their career in field sales. With support from the office team, the Field Sales Executive will spend significant time out on the road visiting existing customers and new prospects within your designated territory to build relationships and develop new machinery sales opportunities. Initially, you will be based from our HQ just north of Winchester in Hampshire.
The Field Sales Executive will sell the full range of PrintSafe Machinery to customers as diverse as major food producers and metal parts manufacturers. They will be responsible for developing existing accounts and finding new customer opportunities in their own geographic area. The role will report to the Sales Manager. They will be based from the office, but will spend a large around 80% of their time carrying out planned customer and prospect visits within their defined territory. The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for developing their own new business opportunities as well as upselling and cross-selling within existing customers.

Candidates will have a keen interest and/or experience in pursuing a career in field sales.
Responsibilities:
* Visiting and building relationships with existing customers to uncover additional machinery sales and aftersales opportunities.
* Outbound business development to build your own list of new customer opportunities through cold-calling and networking
* Liaising with internal project teams to feedback on visits and providing all necessary details for machinery specification
* Keeping detailed reports and records on visits and opportunities
* Regular reporting and feedback to the Sales Manager

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Resilience and a strong desire to succeed in sales
* Good all-round education possibly with some knowledge of engineering, sales and marketing
* Flexibility and willingness to travel; overnight stays may be needed from time to time
* Excellent personal organisational skills
* Good time management
* Self-motivation but good teamworking skills
* IT skills: Microsoft Office Suite and general IT expertise
* Full, clean UK driving licence
Suitable applicants must have a full, current driving licence. A good specification company vehicle will be provided. All applicants must have permission to work in the UK.
