Bates & Bradshaw are working in partnership with Wren Kitchens who are based in South Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire and they are a leading manufacturing business who supply bespoke products across the UK. Critical purpose of role:
* This is an internal audit position to ensure that the environmental permit conditions regarding inspections are adhered to, this will also incorporate aspects of Health & Safety auditing, and assessing behaviour.
* The position is deemed a 80% factory visual walk round & inspection, and 20% office work.
Main responsibilities:
* Conduct Environmental walk rounds both visual and documented in accordance with the conditions of the permit.
* Conduct Health & Safety daily walk rounds.
* To conduct the weekly site Health & Safety audit.
* To conduct other audits and assessments as directed by the Site HSE Manager or Environmental Controller.
* To complete the CAR log and tracker, or other non conformance reporting and closure systems.
* Conduct behaviour assessments.
* Control & monitor waste.
* Control, monitor and report chemical usages.
* Monitor and report utility usages
* Carrying out regular inspections of works on site.
* Ensure all employees are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities and understand the requirements of company environmental procedures and guidance notes.
* Responsible for undertaking regular environmental audits and inspections to monitor compliance with environmental legislation and company environmental procedures and ensure environmental controls are in place and effective.
* Ensure all audits/inspections are documented and reported in accordance with the company and client procedures.
* Monitor and investigate following an environmental incident, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken, under the guidance of the Environmental Controller.
* Collate monthly site environmental data in a timely manner and submit to the Environmental Controller (as required) for reporting purposes.
* To conduct any reasonable tasks as directed by any Manager or the Environmental Controller.
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
* Driving Licence
* Chemical Training
* Polish speaking would be an advantage
