- THE ROLE;

- As Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, you'll be selling roof windows & accessories to roofing & building suppliers, Builders merchants, distributors, contractors, house builders, roof window installers & retailers.

- Covering London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Middlesex, Bucks, Beds, Herts, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire.

- As Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager you'll be conducting 4+ face to face calls per day, with a mix of new & established accounts with the contractor, installer & merchant/distributor.

- Focusing on the roofing contractors at both national & regional level, generating the projects & then backselling via the stockist, merchant, distributor or retailer.

- Typically working on refurb and new build housing projects, loft conversions, kitchen extensions etc.

- As Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager you'll be selling a wide range of product types & sizes, which are quick & easy to install & provide energy conservation, performance, safety & comfort.

- Whilst there is an existing customer base, the mix is likely to be 70% new business, 30% account management.

- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

- The successful Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager will be commercially switched on, with a track record of field sales success, ideally in the construction industry with contractors, installers, house builders, Builders merchants & distributors.

- You will be dedicated, hardworking, resilient and a team player, who will role their sleeves up and be a great brand ambassador.

- You will have a passion for sales, smart in your approach, with the ability to think strategically.

- You will be ambitious & want to grow with the company.

- You will be proficient in Microsoft tools, (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

- You will be organised, engaging & a confident presenter, as you will on occasion run training days with your installer and merchants.

- You'll enjoy both new business and account management.

- THE REMUNERATION;

- Basic salary of GBP30,000- GBP33,000.

- Up to 35% bonus/commission, the majority paid monthly.

- Nissan Qashqui company car

- Fantastic pension scheme (contributions of 5% self & 10% company OR 7% self & 12% company after 3 months service.)

- 25 days holidays, plus 8 Bank holidays

- Mobile phone, laptop and all other tools required to fulfil the requirements of the position.
