The position of Financial Reporting Specialist will be to work for the European Head office for this global organisation. The focus of this role will be to design and write reports to meet Statutory Accounting & Tax requirements. You will report to the EMEA Director of Tax & Financial Systems based in Belgium, with day-to-day supervision & coaching by the EMEA Financial Systems Manager.
The successful Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for analysing existing business and system processes and legal requirements. You'll document, design and write reports and work with the Belgium Tax and the US IT department
You are likely to have significant experience of :
* Microsoft packages.
* Oracle PeopleSoft GL
* Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub
You are likely to be:
* Part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
* Good A level / GCSE grades, or equivalent (including top grades in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent).
This is a 12 month contract and applicants will be required to have basic accounting knowledge, understanding of general ledger and sub ledger accounting, balance sheet and income statement structure.
