HR Manager - Part-Time - Sport Technology Leaders
Wimbledon, London
£45,000 - £55,000 FTE (Pro-Rata) dependent on experience + Benefits Package + Perks

Part time – up to 21 hours a week


We are looking for a HR Manager who is passionate and experienced in HR to join our fast-growing company based at our headquarters in Wimbledon. You will work very closely with the COO to support the business to deliver people-related processes, vision and strategy across the company.

The HR Manager Role:

We are looking for a HR Manager who is passionate and experienced in HR to join our fast-growing company based at our headquarters in Wimbledon. You will work very closely with the COO to support the business to deliver people-related processes, vision and strategy across the company. 

This is a key role for the company as we enter a significant growth stage and this will be our first HR manager appointment. The role will cover the full spectrum of HR duties including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and providing advice on employment law. 

People are our most important asset and you will support the Executive and managers in promoting our core values and shaping a positive culture aligned to our mission and company objectives. 

HR Manager Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
+ Manage the recruitment and selection process
+ Implement and manage a high performance culture through objectives, appraisals and continuous professional development
+ Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
+ Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of all colleagues
+ Nurture a positive working environment for all staff
+ Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
+ Manage and ensure the effective use of our HR tool - Cascade 
+ Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
+ Lead on any disciplinary or grievance issues
+ Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, using your experience and network of advisers

HR Manager Essential Skills & Experience:

+ CIPD qualified
+ Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive capacity
+ People oriented and results driven
+ Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
+ Knowledge of HR systems and databases
+ Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
+ Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
+ Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
+ In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
+ Continuous improvement mindset

Great to have …. 

+ Experience of working in a start-up company
+ Experience in change management 
+ Health and safety experience. IOSH qualified would be advantageous
