HR Advisor, 3 month temporary assignment, Yate, Bristol - great HR generalist position.

Your new role
Working as a valuable member of a small, busy and supportive team, you will provide comprehensive and effective professional HR support and advice to Managers and staff on a range of HR matters and casework as well as support HR related initiatives, projects and continuous improvement opportunities.

Lead HR requirements for significant workforce change projects (including TUPE), ensuring appropriate consultation and involvement of staff, trade unions and partner organisations To act as a professional point of reference for other HR team colleagues, working collaboratively where necessary, to contribute towards business objectives such as the effective management of sickness absence, performance management etc Assist with job analysis and design in relation to workforce change projects as necessary.

Coordinate and/or provide standard and non-standard management information and analysis to enable the organisation to understand its workforce, particularly within a commercially driven employment context.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a proven contemporary HR delivery experience and sound technical expertise in employee relations legislation, case work practice and change management principles ideally gained within a complex operating environment Professionally qualified - ideally to Associate CIPD (intermediate level) or equivalent level of experience. You'll have excellent written and spoken communication skills to empathise with and influence a wide range of stakeholders. Trained in job evaluation methodology, Hay preferable (or willingness to be trained in Hay methodology). Effective reasoning and analytical skills and the ability to form sound judgements to give well-reasoned advice Able to prioritise a complex workload in an environment of change Knowledge of job analysis, job design and job evaluation schemes Ability to chair validation panels.Effective IT skills to include Microsoft Office. Able to use specialist software and databases (with training where needed).
