Position: Electrical / Hydraulic Fitter
Hours: DAY Shift 40 hrs per week 6.00am-4.30pm (flexible)
Annual Salary GBP26,790.40 - opportunity to increase this via O/T / weekend working
A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical / Hydraulic Fitter within the production area of the business based at our Worksop site.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager the main function of the role is to ensure the correct output is achieved to the correct build time and build process, ensuring the correct standard of quality in line with BS EN ISO 9001 quality management systems.
The successful candidate will have the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematic drawings. Knowledge of CAN bus systems and experience in production projects & improvements are both preferable.
Applicants will be familiar with electrical / hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly techniques, have established problem solving skills and practised techniques with the ability to work within a takt time.
The ability to read and understand engineering build specifications is desirable, however training can be given.
You must have attended formal training courses in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems. An auto electrical qualification is desirable but not essential.
The role will require a flexible approach as multi-skilling, the flexibility to work overtime and weekends and a willingness to learn new skills are all requirements of the role
