Trafford Housing Trust (THT) is an independent Housing Association (HA) providing around 9,000 quality, affordable, homes within the Trafford area of Manchester. We are a “profit-for-purpose” organisation, striving for a society transformed, free from poverty, inequality and injustice. As well as being a landlord we also do a few other things such as: build properties under our subsidiary business call Laurus Homes, we run community centres, sheltered schemes and even have a social enterprise business called Cleanstart.

We are currently in discussions with London and Quadrant Housing Association (HA), who are one of the largest HA’s in the country. We feel this is a great opportunity for THT to grow. This is an exciting time in the ICT Team; we now need to expand our services. With this in mind, we are looking to recruit a unique individual to fill a unique role. A person that can operate in multiple roles as demand requires.
This is a Project Manager with a technical background that can assist the infrastructure team to deliver customer and business systems. i.e. is comfortable discussing and planning WANs, virtualisation, cloud computing, UC systems, SQL, SCCM, AD etc..
This is a DevOps, change and release manager that can support all aspects of product and service lifecycle. I.e. is comfortable helping us launch new websites and customer portals
This is an analyst that can remove barriers, overcome hurdles and find solutions for the business through the use of technology. i.e. has experience of supplier, contract management and procurement.

You will essentially support the technical leads and ICT Senior Management team to deliver successful ICT, Digital and Technology enabled solutions; taking the lead on technical aspects of projects and working with, and for, Business Change owners from the business.
Candidates for this role should have experience of ITIL, Prince2 and Agile methodologies and a good management understanding of WinTel, O365, Azure, SCCM, InTune, Skype infrastructure, CISCO, AD and SQL. Able to project manage technical plans around Microsoft Desktop solutions (ideally Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 applications), you will have strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to produce statistics and present them in a manner suitable to the audience. We are looking for a quick learner who is able to understand technical concepts and translate these into solutions.
