Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Apprentice

GBP8,846.04 - GBP16,695.62 - first year rate (age dependant)
24 month fixed-term contract

Our client operates an award winning apprenticeship programme which is helping many young people find different routes into work.
Based at their Kidderminster Depot, they are seeking a grounds maintenance apprentice to work as part of a specialist Grounds Maintenance team, working on contracts across the West Midlands
A keen interest in grounds maintenance, an aptitude for practical and physical work is essential. You will train as a Grounds Maintenance Apprentice and carry out a variety of duties including:
* Grass cutting
* Hedge cutting
* Planting of shrubs
* The use of a range of equipment including, power tools, light plant and ride-on mowers
You will have grade C or level 4 or above in Maths and English or be expected to achieve this as part of your Level 2 Diploma in Work-based Horticulture - Landscaping apprenticeship. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence before the end of their apprenticeship in order to be considered for a full time position, should one be available
