Synergy Group are working with a Large Retail and Distribution client and looking to recruit drivers mates in the area.
The position is working days on a continuous rota of 5 on 3 off this will include weekends.
The job will be working alongside a qualified Van or 7.5 tonne driver and assisting in the delivery of good to home users.
Deliveries are all in a 60 mile radius of the Newark Depot.
Due to the nature of the size and weight of the items this will be a two manned vehicle consisting of a driver and a drivers mate.
You will also be responsible in speaking to customers either face to face at point of delivery or on the phone if rescheduling a delovery so a good understanding of written and spoken english along with customer service skills is essential.
This is on ongoing position and we would need ongoing commitment to this position and our client.
Requirements:
Good understanding of written and spoken english
Good customer service skills
Ability to lift heavy and large items i.e fridge freezers and washing machines
Ability to get to Newrak on a daily basis
