The Company:
Our client has been established for over 35 years offering their specialist Industrial services across the UK.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a pro-active result driven sales professional with strong inter-personal skills and good contacts to join our sales team to cover the M62 corridor. Reporting to the Managing Director. Candidates should have a proven track record in sales, a good knowledge of business to business sales, ideally from one of the following backgrounds; Chemical / Oil storage, Industrial Services, Environmental Services, Welding and Fabrication, however, experience in another business to business environment will be considered.
The Role
As Field Sales Manager you will grow and manage your own territory by having ownership and being accountable for driving new business to achieve growth targets. Demonstrating return on investment through value led conversations and analysing your own performance using your initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of customers and provide field support for team members with larger accounts.
* Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio
* Monitor sales performance and activity levels and produce monthly report detailing key result areas.
* Maintain appropriate records on clients and sales activities.
* Calling on customers on a regular basis, providing quotes and ensuring that enquiries and issues are followed up in a timely manner.
