Asset Manager required for a Sunday Times Top 100 Not-for-Profit company in Birmingham.
Your role as Asset Manager will include:
* Design and procure compliance, planned and cyclical maintenance projects
* Management of a small team and professionals within the business, including compliance and contracts managers, reporting to Senior Management
* Play an integral role within the leadership team making significant changes to the organisation
* Deliver a high level and consistent service within the Assets and Compliance division
* Responsible for health and safety and compliance including gas servicing, electrical, fire safety, legionella, and asbestos.
* Not just desk bound, be out and about assessing the stock, stock condition surveys and providing technical, in depth knowledge to the team
The Ideal Asset Manager will:
* Demonstrate a strong background in Asset Management, Investment Management, Contract Management, Compliance Management and Surveying
* Able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge of the building maintenance and construction industry through previous work experience
* It will be advantageous to your new organisation if you are educated to an industry recognised level, for example HNC, RICS or MRICS
* Working knowledge of Microsoft office package including Word and Excel
