Becoming a Junior/Apprentice CAD (Computer Aided Design) Technician with Capita Real Estate & Infrastructure:

Capita are looking for a Junior/Apprentice CAD (Computer Aided Design) Technician to join our team in the East Grinstead office. This is a wide ranging role which could include (project dependent) design, bid preparation, tender preparation and site asset surveys. Working alongside The Water, Mechanical & Engineering team the right candidate will assist on a wide range of large projects including Water/Waste Water Treatment Plants, pumping stations, water pipelines, road tunnels, Building Services, as well as some other small scale projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team within the water sector with excellent long term opportunities for the right candidate.

What you will do:

* Assist in developing drawings for various projects
* MEP Detailing
* Bid Preparation
* Updating the Water & M&E CAD Libraries
* CAD specification and tender preparation

Your experience will include:

Essential

* AutoCAD / AutoCAD MEP

* Generic CAD Standards
* CAD Template Files
* xRefs (loading & unloading)
* Co-Ordinates & Grid References (World Co-ordinates)
* PDF software and revision workflows including mark-ups
