Civil Engineer - Liverpool
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join an award winning Civil and Structural Engineering Team, based in the heart of Liverpool.
The client is a internationally recognisable multi-disciplinary consultancy, whom have won multiple awards for their recent work in the UK.
The duties of the successful candidate will be to produce design calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, schedules and specifications.
They will be responsible for producing and checking calculations, reports, drawings, design models, schedules and specifications within a quality assurance environment.
From time to time there will be requirements to visit building sites, carry out building surveys and inspections.
Working as part of a team, the role will involve coordination between the civil and structural design team with other technical disciplines.
The ideal candidate will be committed to continuing professional development, both of themselves and the team they are working within.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
" Designing building and car park/road drainage, SUDS systems, retaining structures and external works within a professional Civil and/or Structural Engineering office environment.
" Innovyze Microdrainage software, Autodesk vehicle tracking and Civil 3d design software.
" Preparing flood risk assessment reports for new building projects or site redevelopments.
" Making applications for adoptable sewers and roads.
" Cut and fill optimisation, earthworks and pavement design.
" Underground drainage design to British and/or European Standards.
" BREEAM and sustainable civil engineering design practice.
" Reinforced concrete design to British Standards or European Standards.
The successful applicant will have a full UK driving license, the ability to work to deadlines effectively, and aspire to become a chartered engineer.
