Head of Estates
Our client, a large education establishment in Central Sheffield are currently searching for a Head of Estates on a six month contract to oversee their properties across the city. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Resources the successful candidate will ensure there is effective leadership and management of the estate and facilities function ensuring that the organisation meets its legal responsibilities in these areas.
The postholder will hold responsibility for the strategic vision, objectives and operations within the estate and will manage a small team which includes Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Facilities Manager, Catering Manager & Electrical Engineer. With projects planned over the summer period planned to the value of GBP750,000 along with regular operational costs, it is imperative that the successful candidate has previous experience of managing budgets.
The ideal candidate will be a Senior Facilities or Estates Manager with knowledge and successful experience of leadership and management at a senior level. You will have the ability to lead, support, develop and inspire a well established team. You will have strong knowledge of statutory regulations and legislation as well as Health & Safety.
In return our client is looking to offer the equivalent salary around GBP60,000 per annum plus a generous benefits package. Please note this is a 6 month contract.
