37 hours per week (plus optional 2 hours per week guaranteed overtime at time and a half)

Property Services require an enthusiastic Joiner/Multi-Trade Operative to join its small but very busy directly employed labour group (CSG) delivering a high quality service to support the primary objectives of the University.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of a quality property maintenance and minor works service to the diverse range of the Universities estate. This post requires participation in an out of hour’s on-call rota.
Applicants should hold a minimum City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery / NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Joinery with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. Experience within a maintenance environment would be advantageous but not essential.
The annual leave entitlement for this role is 30 days plus statutory holidays throughout the year.
