Job Title: Sales Support Assistant

Location: Harlow

Salary: £18,000 per annum

Position: Full Time, Permanent (42 hours per week)

The Company is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Sales Support Assistant to join them starting as soon as possible. They pride themselv es on customer service so the ideal candidate will have experience in liaising with customers via telephone and e-mail.

The main job purpose is to assist their friendly and bubbly commercial team with all administrative tasks. This includes order processing, taking in-bound calls, preparing reports and ad-hoc admin duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of high-quality customer service to all customers
  • Process inbound orders from calls
  • Process third party orders while aiming to maximise profit margin by obtaining a competitive price for delivery
  • Ensure all purchase orders are assigned to third party orders
  • Ensure correct purchase order numbers are assigned to customer's orders
  • Book in courier collections on both Freight route and APC
  • Ensure up to date site contacts and details are entered on every order
  • Be the first point of contact for all incoming calls

The successful Candidate will have/ be:

  • Prior experience of working within an admin role preferable
  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • Believes in and exhibits good customer care
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products including Excel
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Drive, determination and ownership of role
