Junior IT Technician

£10.32 per hour based on a 37.5 hour week

The Role:

  • To act as the liaison between company colleagues and the IT Department with regards to IT Support Issues
  • To be responsible for the day to day IT Support and administration

Primary Responsibilities:

  • General day to day IT support
  • Create new user accounts and passwords
  • Support the rollout of new applications
  • Provide remote IT support to colleagues working across the UK
  • Install and configure computers and Printers
  • Diagnose hardware /software faults
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Liaise with external technicians when necessary
  • Log employee queries
  • Provide website administration support
  • Any other duties as required

Knowledge and Skills:

Desirable:

  • Existing skills, experience and interest in IT Support & Engineering

Essential:

  • Minimum Grade C in Maths and English GCSE
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Basic networking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with internal customers (face to face, on the phone or via email)
