Junior IT Technician
£10.32 per hour based on a 37.5 hour week
The Role:
- To act as the liaison between company colleagues and the IT Department with regards to IT Support Issues
- To be responsible for the day to day IT Support and administration
Primary Responsibilities:
- General day to day IT support
- Create new user accounts and passwords
- Support the rollout of new applications
- Provide remote IT support to colleagues working across the UK
- Install and configure computers and Printers
- Diagnose hardware /software faults
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Liaise with external technicians when necessary
- Log employee queries
- Provide website administration support
- Any other duties as required
Knowledge and Skills:
Desirable:
- Existing skills, experience and interest in IT Support & Engineering
Essential:
- Minimum Grade C in Maths and English GCSE
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Basic networking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with internal customers (face to face, on the phone or via email)
