FINTEC recruit is seeking an Accounts Assistant /Bookkeeper for our client in Penicuik. This is a permanent position offering flexible hours Monday to Friday up to approx 30 hours per week,

Responsibilities:

* To be part of a small office team carrying out general accounts work sales/purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and the production of reports

* Keeping sage accounts up to date

* Credit card/expenses/overtime reconciliation and payment

* Paying suppliers and creditors

* Liaise with external bodies (accountants/HMRC etc.)

Key skills and responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant role

* Financial accounts experience

* Experience and competent with Sage Accounts

* AAT qualification an advantage, not an essential
