Maxwell Bruce is currently recruiting for Production Supervisors for one of our clients based in Kirkcaldy.
Ideally, our client is looking for candidates who can demonstrate the potential to build and lead a team in order to achieve set targets and Company objectives.
You will be self-motivated and have the drive to meet and exceed KPI's which are set by your Production Manager.
The ideal candidate will be coming from a fast paced processing/Manufacturing background.
Key Duties/Responsibilities are as follows:
• To demonstrate an understanding of the importance of quality
• The ability to analyse problems and provide solutions
• To be a clear and effective communicator
• The skills to cope with a demanding and pressured work environment
• To provide effective leadership
• Compliance: ensure site, customer and BRC standards of food safety, trace ability and record keeping are adhered to by all staff
• KPI's: responsible for collecting data to analyse production costs and efficiencies in order to maintain continual improvement
• Compliance: ensure site, customer and BRC standards of food safety, trace ability and record keeping are adhered to by all staff
• Responsible for collecting data to analyse production costs and efficiencies in order to maintain continual improvement
• Manage daily labour levels in line with production activity and engage agency staff to cover shortfalls
• Appraise, review and identify training needs of all staff and carry out investigatory and disciplinary interviews as and when required
