Job Title: Service Engineer
Are you a Service Engineer happy to work in a field based role covering the M1 Corridor between South Sheffield and Leicester? Do you have an Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification or both? This is a hands-on position where you can excel in an environment that embraces teamwork, change and flexibility.
Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of critical entrance/access control and ancillary equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out maintenance of all entrance control and ancillary equipment ensuring right first time and service delivery is on time and in full
* Develop a thorough product knowledge including detailed understanding of mechanical functions and existing controls software to provide effective solutions for automation equipment including gates, boom arms/barriers and PAS68 crash tested products
* Working closely with Service Desk to ensure efficient and effective Service KPI delivery solutions are on target and met in full
* Ensure standard stocks within van is maintained to expedite efficiency of service delivery
* Liaise with service desk to ensure common faults are logged
* Work with various cross-functional teams
* Ensure full customer job satisfaction sign off is gained on every job to include any suggestions given
Requirements:
* Electrical / Mechanical Engineer qualification or both. Ideally HNC level or IEE 17th Edition Qualified
* Working within the field covering various regions
* Experience in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email to complete digital forms, parts lists, emails etc.
* Min of 2 years industry specific experience
