BioAnalayst

We are hiring for Bioanalysts on a 12 months fixed term contract basis, to work in an established business in the North East that is expanding. Our client is involved in radiosynthesis chemistry, supporting pharmaceutical research and development. The salary is up to GBP24,000. These roles will report into the Bioanalytical Study Director.
What you'll do:
You will be working on the application of mass spectrometry based bioanalytical methodologies for preclinical and clinical drug analysis [ LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, TOF MS, and GC-MS ]. This will also involve acquiring and recording data in a GxP compliant manner and following the policies and procedures of GxP.
This will involve validation of bioanalytical methods, and providing resolution to technical problems. In addition you will be preparing work protocols for approval, critically assessing data generated and reviewing data from peers as well as quality documents and training documentation.
You will also be responsible for your equipment and ordering of consumable items, calibration and general good lab housekeeping will be important as always.
Your background
We envisage the person who joins will be educated to BSc(Hons) level in a relevant scientific discipline, and be able to demonstrate a strong grounding in Mass Spectrometry from a pharmaceutical environment.
This role will be working in a busy business that has projects coming in from clients in the UK and overseas. The word dynamic is overused however I'd describe the business in this way, we need someone who has good oral/written communications, critical data assessment, and a flexible approach to new challenges at work.
