Finance Manager (Income & Operations)

Contract: Permanent, part time 3 days per week (0.6 FTE)

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 pro rata, dependent on experience

Location: Manchester City Centre

The Royal Exchange Theatre sits at the heart of Manchester’s culturally dynamic city centre.  We are one of the largest and most compelling producing theatre companies in the UK.

We are currently seeking a new Finance Manager (Income & Operations) to join the Finance team.

The Finance Manager (Income and Operations) will have overall responsibility for income and the sales ledger, including related systems, in particular Tessitura (ticketing system).

The Finance Manager (Income and Operations) will also provide business support to Senior Management Team leaders with responsibility for both income generation and for operations.

This support will include the provision of management information, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and advice on systems and taxation, as well as responsibility for year-end accounts for RET Trading Limited.

The Finance Manager (Income and Operations) will also oversee the purchase ledger function and ensure compliance with our purchasing and procurement policy, leading on initiatives to achieve best value. The post-holder will work closely with the Purchase and Sales Ledger Officer, and Finance Assistant (trainee), and with the lead Finance Manager.
