Cleaning Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Domestic Cleaning Supervisor to work for our client an established care facility based in Canterbury.
As the successful Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee the cleaning of the entire facility alongside supervising 3 members of staff.
Working various shifts between 7am - 6pm, 37.5 hours a week (including weekends) this role will be paying GBP17,651.
Duties & Responsibilities
* To oversee the cleaning of all rooms within the facility, including bedrooms, self-contained flats, communal areas and offices.
* To ensure all rooms are cleaned to a high standard and ready for use on a day to day basis.
* To ensure that all paperwork is completed daily by yourself and your team.
* Order and maintain stock levels on all cleaning products required.
* Understand the needs of and build excellent relationships with the people who live at the service and the people employed to support them.
* To support the people who live at the home to maintain a clean and safe environment.
* To ensure that confidentiality is maintained and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
* Recruit induct and train new staff in accordance with the company's policy procedural guidelines.
Person Specification
* Must have experience within a similar role.
* Must have experience supervising a team of domestic cleaners.
* Good standard of written English. GCSE level or equivalent.
* CACDP Level 1 in British Sign Language, or willingness and ability to achieve this qualification within 12 months.
* NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in housekeeping or equivalent (or the ability and commitment to work towards achieving it in 12 months).
