Akton Recruitment are looking for a Data and Performance Manager to fill an excellent role on the Drug & Alchol Action Team with Southwark Council.

The Role -

To work with the Assistant Director of Community Safety & Partnerships, DAAT Business Unit Manager, Community Safety and Partnerships Team Managers and Community Safety Officers to develop and ensure effective delivery and future planning of the individual team areas, wider divisional, directorate and council priorities as well as the delivery of performance against local, regional and national measures.

The Data and Performance Manager (DAAT) will report to the DAAT Business Unit Manager. The post holder will provide strategic and tactical analysis of data, intelligence and performance management information for the Southwark Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) and its drug and alcohol strategic thematic portfolio to support evidence based and intelligence led decision-making by the SSAP and its themes and sub-groups.

The post holder will develop action plans, strategies, drugs and alcohol profiles and performance management frameworks to implement recommendations from analysis to support drug and alcohol related partnership priorities.

The Data and Performance Manager (DAAT) will also have responsibility for:

* Supporting the strategic development and implementation of the SSAB statutory rolling plan objectives specific to substance misuse including delivery of the rolling plan across all strategic and voluntary partners and project management to deliver specific SSAB rolling plan objectives.

* Supporting the DAAT to design and implement contractual performance management frameworks for all council commissioned drug and alcohol treatment provision and support the team to deliver high quality services for service users

* Use of local, regional and national data sets to benchmark and improve DAAT partnership performance.

Due to the nature of the business the post holder will represent the Assistant Director of Community Safety & Partnerships and DAAT Business Unit Manager on all matters relating to their responsibilities.

Requirements-

* Previous experience with Drug and Alchol Teams would be beneficial

* Experience in a Similar role would be beneficial

* Able to write clear, complex and accurate reports

* Experience of development of action plans and strategies, and presentation of ideas and deliverable actions to achieve strategic goals
