Location: Castle Vale, Birmingham
Salary: GBP22,238
Fixed Term for 9 months
37 hours per week

Our housing client has a fantastic development opportunity for you to join their Income team as a Welfare Reform Advisor on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 9 months.

In this exciting new role, you will be working at the front line of service delivery providing support and assistance to those customers affected by the Welfare Reforms, particularly Universal Credit.

The successful Welfare Reform Advisor will:

* Have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines whilst maintaining customer excellence

* Have a high level of knowledge around the Welfare Reforms especially Universal credit

* Have the ability to deal with customers in a challenging environment including face to face and on the telephone

* Have the ability to work as part of a team and engender positive approaches to team working

* Have the ability to develop and maintain manual and computerised filing systems

* Be a self-motivated problem solver

* Be able to interpret rent account information and action accounts accordingly

* Have the ability to cement good working relationships with key external agencies

* Be familiar with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
