Our client is currently looking to recruit a Customer Monitoring Officer to join their busy team on an initial 6 month temporary basis with a high possibility of extension.
In this role you will be a point of contact for customers / users as well monitoring a range of emergency alarms in a fast moving, multi-functional operation centre. You will be required to take emergency calls followed by assessing the situation and then making decisions in a calm fashion. You will be playing a key role in the efficiency of the organisations operations.
The ideal candidate will have some of the following experience / skills:
* Experience monitoring CCTV
* Experience using radio communication equipment
* Previous experience in a customer service background
* Experience liaising with internal and external departments
* Have a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
* Good knowledge of using Windows IT systems (Word, Excel and Outlook)
* Good attention to detail and ability to multi task
* Good interpersonal skills
* Organised and methodical
* Good verbal and written communication skills
You must be happy working on a shift pattern: 12 hours shifts from 7.30am - 7.30pm essentially 2 days on 2 off 3 on 2 off.
