We are a strong growth UK/Europe Inbound tour operator company with the small elite team and advanced inhouse reservation system, so it is quite crucial for us to understand if you could work independently without extra help for the bookkeeping or accountant role. In other word, you should be working in the UK inbound tour operator or travel industry for more than 3 years and are familiar with all the working process.
Working Location: Central London, Vauxhall tube / train station
Working Hour: 8:30 to 17:30 with one-hour lunch break between 12:00 and 14:00
Holiday: 24 days + Other UK standard public holiday
Pension: UK standard
Team member: 5 - 10 team members
Salary: 20K - 25K can be negotiated depending on the experience
Your main responsibilities but not exclusive are as following:
• Organising and Managing the daily payment to suppliers such as hotels and coach companies
• Responsible for reconciling daily bank accounts over Xero
• Applying and Managing the credit facility with all different suppliers
• Efficient management of cash flows, preparing cash flow forecast report as well as maintain the cashflow during the operation
• Preparing VAT report based on Xero
• Preparing Corporation tax based on Xero
• Preparing payslip based on Xero
• Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements based on Xero
• Preparing accounts and tax returns
• Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
• Make sure the company credit score is maintaining in the high level with all major credit agency
* Having knowledge of TOMS will be ideal, although it is not essential
What we are looking for:
• Reasonable verbal and written communication skills in English are required
• If you could speak mandarin, it will be advantage although it is not essential
• Must have worked in the travel industry in the past with the similar bookkeeping or accountant experience in the UK inbound travel company for more than 3 years.
• Good temper and responsible person
