About RFT Architecture

The RFT Architecture team is responsible for ensuring compliance with RFT and Group-Wide technology, data, and business architecture standards. The team controls this through the RFT Architecture Council, which consists of senior architects from the RFT Architecture team and each of the RFT CIO teams. The team is made up of two sub-teams; Technical & Data Architecture, and Business Architecture.

Business Architecture involves understanding the target business outcomes and processes that we are looking to establish, the key systems and other technology components that will deliver these, the key data inputs needed to support these processes, and the outputs from these processes and consumers of those outputs.

The key responsibility of the Business Architecture team is to manage the RFT Technology Roadmap, which is an articulation of the Current and Target Technology Architecture for RFT, how it supports RFT's Target Business & Technology Outcomes, and the key initiatives and milestones to deliver this over a 3 year timeline.

What will you be doing?

o You will own the ongoing development and refinement of the target business architecture and roadmap for designated parts of Risk, Finance and Treasury
o You will ensure that the target business architecture for these areas is consistent with our wider RFT target architecture, our Data Strategy, and our Technology Strategy
o You will support specific Front-to-Back initiatives to understand current state dataflows into and out of RFT systems, and the extent to which the initiative provides opportunities to advance our strategic aims
o You will perform deep-dive analysis into specific architecture design issues, and propose/socialise solutions
o You will work with architects from designated parts of Risk, Finance and Treasury to identify solutions to the architectural challenges specific to their areas.

What we're looking for:

o Business analysis, solution design, and project execution
o Experience of working with large front-to-back data & systems projects
o Microsoft Office (including Powerpoint and Visio)
o Some experience of Financial Services Risk, Finance or Treasury
