Industrial Sewing Machinist
GBP9.28 per hour
Southend based
I am representing a large design, engineering/manufacturing organisation and due to continued growth, I have an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist based at my client head office in Southend.
Duties for the Industrial Sewing Machinist position will include:
• Overlock cut parts
• Sew cut parts into complete items referencing drawing, templates, work instructions and/or samples
• Carry out any reworks required
Experience required for the Industrial Sewing Machinist will include:
• Minimum of 12 months industrial sewing machine experience
• Overlocking experience would is desirable - full training given
• Experience of sewing various items so to understand how the product goes together from cut parts would also be beneficial
The hours are 39 per week, Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm (30 minute lunch break) and Friday 8am to 1pm, and due to the location you will need to have your own transport.
