Our client is a leading agricultural brand with outstanding facilities and career opportunities.
This position as a sprayer operator is available for one of the country's top root crop growers growing in excess of 1315 ha of root crops. for keen, a self-motivated individual who can work to a high standard and meet the demands and deadlines of a busy pack house.
You will be an experienced farmhand/agricultural worker and have tractor driving experience as a minimum. Willing to work outdoors and some unsociable hours.
Training to achieve sprayer operator status is available to tractor drivers wishing to progress their career. Salaries start at GBP20000pa.
Experienced sprayer operators with the certificates below can achieve a starting salary of GBP25000pa
Positions available:
* Sprayer Operator the ideal candidate will have previous spraying experience in a similar sector (but not essential), operating a Bateman RB35 sprayer, spraying crops in and around the Yorkshire area.
* PA1, PA2 & PA4 qualifications
* Must work well in a team and individually, working to a high standard with attention to detail.
The roles are available at our Yorkshire base however the right applicants will need to be prepared to work away from home from time to time.
Full driving Licence required plus own transport
