Becoming an Associate Consultant (DB Consulting) with Employee Solutions:

We are looking for an Associate Consultant to join our Defined Benefit (DB) Consulting Team in Reading. The Associate Consultant will provide support to the Consultants and clients within the DB Consulting & Scheme Management practice area.

What you will do:

* Provides a complete and professional support service to the Consultants, including preparation of draft communications, advice and papers
* Assists with the preparation of new client agreements and scopes of work
* Provides support to the secretarial support team when required
* Manages the team invoicing process
* Updates the workflow processes for the team
* Builds professional relationships with clients and other parties (administrators, auditors and other practices) becoming liaison in the absence of the Consultants
* Liaises with other practice areas and external suppliers
* Develops and continually strengthens pensions and benefits knowledge
* Effectively manages delivery of work to time, quality and budget

Your experience will include:

* Defined benefits pension experience
* Excellent IT and organisational skills
* Ability to work flexibly and able to work under pressure
* Good communication skills
* Proactive
* Commercially aware
* Good presentation skills (or ability to acquire such skills)
* Good IT skills in Microsoft Office
* Project management experience and knowledge is desirable
