Role Overview:-

Dawson Road is a nursing care home which provides care and support to 12 people with learning and physical disabilities. We also have experience of supporting people with epilepsy, PEG feeding, dementia and a range of other needs. We aim for our home to be friendly, fun and optimistic; ensuring that every day is a special with value and purpose for everyone.

Most of our residents at Dawson Road are wheelchair users and the home is fully accessible to all. The home is made up of two bungalows, each with six bedrooms.

As a Support Worker at 5 Dawson Road you will promote independence and support people to lead as fulfilling life as possible. Our support workers incorporate both therapy based activities and social based activities.

For Support Workers in this location experience is required however all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support.

You will need to be flexible with the shifts that you are able to work, you will be asked to cover mornings, afternoons, and weekend on a rota basis.
