We are now seeking a Development & Events Co-ordinator to deliver a program of events throughout the year to engage with our Blundell's community, whilst providing a wide range of administrative support to the office.

The Role 

As the Development and Events Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the School’s fundraising activities, donor relations, special events and fundraising campaigns. 

One of the key elements of your role will be planning, managing and co-ordinating a programme of events throughout the year that engage with the entire Blundell’s community. 

In this varied role, you will: 

- Implement plans to develop the school’s relationship with its supporters 
- Act as the face-to-face point of contact for events 
- Provide written communications 
- Co-ordinate and administer the Business and Careers Mentor directories linking members of the community to the School 
- Help to manage the Development Office and the Old Blundellian Club 
- Support the Blundell’s Development and Communications Team 

About You 

To be considered as a Development and Events Co-ordinator, you will need: 

- Previous experience of events co-ordination and of the detailed requirements for successful events 
- Experience of processing Gift Aid claims 
- Knowledge and experience of working with a database and manipulating data and the ability to analyse a wide range of information, media and financial data 
- Great IT skills, with practical knowledge of social media communications

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, with some flexibility (exact hours to be discussed at interview).
